Meet Steve & Kris Rath

Steve is a born and raised New Yorker. Actually born across the Hudson River from Manhattan in New Jersey, and raised in New York. And Kris? A born and raised California Girl and as California as it gets. Kris’s family is one of the 5 families, given land in the Mexican Land Grant in the late 1800s. The Pacheco family was given all of Marin County and parts of Sonoma, which is where Kris was born and raised, San Rafael.

The cities of Novato and Ignacio were named after great uncles and of course, the well-known Pacheco Pass on the way to Monterey. Her roots in California run deep.

Steve took a long and winding road to find the career he loves. Always interested in business, I went to San Diego State for business, before joining the Air Force and winding up in electronics. After leaving the Air Force, it was back to business. Real Estate to be exact and here I’ve stayed for the last 33 years.

Kris began her career as a successful businesswoman, owning several Travel Agencies, and specializing in international travel with many celebrity clients. After surviving a bout with cancer, the direction of her career was altered and she began a successful career in Real Estate, specializing in relocation and eventually becoming director of relocation and training for all of Northern California’s 57 Coldwell Banker offices.

Together they bring a vast array of skills and knowledge to their clients and hold many distinguished designations including CRS – Certified Real Estate Specialist (only 2% of Realtors® hold this distinction nationally), SRES – Senior Real Estate Specialist, CIPS – Certified International Property Specialist, RSPS – Resort & Second Homes Property Specialist, CRPS – Certified Relocation Property Specialist, and CDPE – Certified Distressed Property Expert.
